Ms. Victoria Burnett, President of VMI, has been involved in construction and management of multi-family communities for the past nineteen years. Ms. Burnett, who has a B.A. in Business Administration from Old Dominion University, opened up VMI in October of 1990. Prior to the opening of VMI, Ms. Burnett was employed by Reliable Homes Building Company as the systems administrator for the entire accounting department. Here, Ms. Burnett sharpened her skills in bookkeeping and developed accounting programs to enable the company to run more efficiently. Soon after completing her task of redesigning the accounting department, Ms. Burnett was asked to join Stefco Builders, to head the commercial management department. Instead, in October 1990, Ms. Burnett decided to "step out on her own" and opened up Victory Management, Inc. in an office in Severna Park.
Ms. Burnett was a licensed real estate agent in the state of Maryland, and is a long time member of CAI (Community Association Institute). Ms. Burnett attends countless seminars both locally and nationally. Ms. Burnett is a qualified Association Management Specialist, AMS and Certified Manager of Community Associations, CMCA.
